At first, self-isolation may have caused high levels of anxiety and stress for some individuals. Now that time has passed, people have been trying to respond positively to the challenge of self-distancing.
What routines positively impact consumers? What does a successful quarantine look like? We have seen two mindsets on social media, and these mindsets are trying to make the best out of the situation.
One mindset measured success by productivity and the other focused on how well they were able to rest. While both are different approaches, the goal is common, to be able to feel good about the lifestyle during quarantine.
For some, when times get tough, they find a way to make the best out of it. Many consumers have a productive mindset during self-isolation. Many people are looking to home workouts to stay fit during the break, and workout videos on YouTube have been increasingly popular. Many consumers are dedicating time to health and wellbeing. Other topics that are popular now include healthy meals, meditation, as well as self-education during this time.
For others, quarantine may be a great time to lounge. Streaming is a key activity for some consumers, alongside browsing social media, and an increased screen usage.
